Compliance
Has your registration lapsed? Have you imported a vehicle? Have you built a new car? Then your vehicle needs a compliance check. How does this happen?
You book the vehicle in (we need it for at least a day). We strip your vehicle then a compliance inspector completes the inspection.
If it passes you will then get a Warrant of Fitness and the paper work to go and get it registered.
If it fails you then have 20 days to make the repairs for it to comply. It is then rechecked. If it passes you will then get a Warrant of Fitness and the paper work to go and get it registered.
When bringing your car in for compliance you need to supply the inspector with a copy of your licence and paper work that proves you are the owner of the vehicle.
Need to Talk it through? The friendly team at Waikato Vehicle Compliance are happy to discuss getting your car compliant and back on the road!
