About Us

Nostalgia Motors is a family owned automotive repair business, established in 1997 by Noel and Sharon McMillin. 

We began as a one mechanic workshop with the idea of specialising in customised vehicles, while also servicing your everyday family cars.  True to form, 15 years later that is still happening only in a bigger way. On any given day the workshop can be filled with a wide variety of vehicles, from family cars, hotrods, work vehicles, trucks, motorbikes and forklifts. 

As the business has grown we have also diversified into vehicle certification for modified and newly built cars.  As the need grew and opportunity opened to expand into complying unregistered vehicles we created an associate company Waikato Vehicle Compliance 2008 Ltd. This now means we can repair, maintain, build and comply cars so that they adhere to NZ standards and regulations.

Over the years we have built up an extremely loyal customer base that is continuing to grow.

Nostalgia Motors offers a range of services for your vehicle. WOF, Services, everyday repairs and maintenance are a regular part of our day, making us a one stop automotive shop. However we have also developed a reputation for being the mechanical workshop that will go the extra mile to solve a problem, to help with the impossible.
